HELP NEEDED
To Build a Monument and National Park for Colin Powell
The Monument
Colin Powell is getting a park for being the bravest person to fight for the U.S. We need workers to construct a scene of him saving several paratroopers from a burning helicopter, a deed that risked his life. The monument will be made of granite, a hard rock, to represent how strong of a person he was. It will be in a desert scene, to represent Operation Desert Storm. This scene will be in the middle of the park, which we will name Colin Powell National Park, after him. The park will be 10 acres, and we will do it in a space that does not have any trees to protect the wildlife in the area. We plan to start on April Fools Day of next year.
Who Was Colin Powell?
Colin Powell was a successful general during to Persian Gulf War. He saved seven paratroopers from a burning helicopter and was rewarded for his bravery several times. The most significant of these is Operation Desert Storm, where Colin Powell and his troops crushed the Iraqi army. This was a key point in the U.S. victory. Colin Powell has never been rewarded for all of his hard work and so YaYmonuments is building a monument for him.
Description
The monument will take up 100 square feet and will be dilated at a scale of 2, so everything will be 2 times bigger than it usually would be.
Agenda
In the first year, half of the team will work on the grass in the area and the playgrounds. The other half will work on the monument.
In the second year, the two teams will alternate and hopefully finish the grass and playgrounds, but not the monument.
In the third year, the two teams will be working together on the monument and finish it.
The Fire
This is the fire that was started by the helicopter.
