ZBTHS Parent Bulletin
From the ZBTHS Principal's Office Vol. 2, Issue 14
Principal's Message 2/18/22
I am happy to report that Zion-Benton High School is full of student-life. The winter athletic season is ending, and spring sports will be here in just a few weeks. Clubs and activities are making a difference inside and outside the school. Our juniors are preparing for the SAT on April 13, 2022. The building administration is finalizing our Class of 2022 end-of-year plans with our Senior Class Officers. I am very proud of how well our school community has responded to the challenges of returning to school.
We strive to prepare every student to be college, career, and life ready upon graduation from Zion-Benton High School. The support we have from our parents and guardians is essential to help us meet this goal. For students, it starts by showing up every day ready to learn. Being on time to school and to every class is necessary for students to truly benefit from their classroom experiences. At ZBTHS, we define academic success first with students passing every class. However, it is essential that students not only pass, but earn A’s, B’s, or C’s. Good grades indicate learning and mastery of skills. Good grades also indicate that students are responsible, work hard, and are committed to their future. The future of our students is our greatest concern as a school community.
Parents and guardians, please continue to monitor your student’s progress. We need your continued support over the next several months. Also, do not hesitate to reach out to our teachers via email or phone with any questions or concerns related to the progress of your child. The students in District 126 need our collective effort as they strive for excellence now and in their future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Dr. Chris Pawelczyk
