Welcome to Holy Spirit Academy!
Taking flight: Bold in the Spirit!
Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!
There have been many new and exciting developments throughout this past year. We are now proud to announce our new name, mission, and identity as a school family! As we weather the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated difficulties, we want you to know that we are there to walk every step of the way with you in the best and worst of times. Come join us as we take flight through our boldness in the Spirit!
Keeping the main thing the main thing!
By providing times for private prayer and community worship, Holy Spirit fosters an education of the whole child through engagement in faith, academics, and a robust student life.
You are our sunshine!
During the tough days of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our teachers were a guiding light providing a top-notch education through a wide variety of digital tools and instructional approaches. That being said, we can't wait for the arrival of our students back at school!
One page at a time!
As we turn the page and begin a new year with a new name and sense of purpose, we hope that you will engage others by sharing in our mission. Families who refer friends who enroll their children in Holy Spirit Academy are eligible for Recruitment Rewards!

Make new friends but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold!
Meet your new Business Manager!
Missy Norrell comes to us from Texas. She has been involved in education for more than 26 years as a teacher, curriculum coach, instructional specialist, and even as an assistant principal! Her husband Deacon Brian will be attending the Byzantine Catholic Seminary to study for the priesthood this fall. Her son Nick will be attending Mercyhurst and her daughter Mary will be starting graduate school for nursing this coming fall, as well.
What is Mrs. Norrell's favorite hobby?
Although she has many hobbies, one of Mrs. Norrell's passions is baking. She loves trying new recipes! Her favorite foods are Mexican (being from Texas, of course!), Cajun, Greek, and Slavic foods. She will often share recipes if asked and loves to have family recipes shared back!
How does Mrs. Norrell spend her down time?
Mrs. Norrell loves to read! Currently she is reading the works of the Desert Fathers and a history of the United States Continental Congress. On her list of things to read are works on Civil Rights in the United States, the study of the Spanish language, and the Tom Clancy novels beginning with The Hunt for Red October. What are you reading?
