From the Testing Office
Welcome back students and parents to the 23-24 school year. My name is Jennifer Hester and I am the Testing Coordinator for SVHS. What does that even mean Testing Coordinator? As the testing coordinator I organize and give all of the College Board exams in addition to all of the STAAR Required Exams. Throughout the year there is some kind of testing going on almost every month and during the spring there are multiple tests going on during March, April and May. Take a look at the schedules listed below.
Additionally, I work with Mrs. Parker, the Academic Dean, to organize and coordinate all of our AP students to register and pay for AP exams. As we get closer to the AP testing in In May, we will spend a significant amount of time putting together the testing so that everything runs smoothly. This year some of the AP tests will be online we will work towards continuing to provide our students with the best testing environment we can.
There is a significant number of moving parts that goes into providing large scale testing at SVHS. This Ranger Family and Community works hard together to ensure your student(s) are receiving a top-notch education, while providing the best testing environment so students continue to perform at a high academic level.
If you ever have questions please email the Testing Office at: jennifer.hester@comalisd.org
