Todd's Tidbits
I wanted to take this time to congratulate our 2020 Professional and Teacher of the Year, Ms. Ronda Harris (Data Coordinator) and Mr. Ben Salba (Social Studies/AP Teacher), respectively. In their respective rolls, both staff members are highly respected and exemplify the vision of Chattahoochee!! How so, the following are just a couple of quotes describing them from their colleagues:
Ms. Ronda Harris--
"Ronda goes above and beyond to come up with creative ideas that are fun and entertaining for our staff and she does all this on her own time. We all eagerly await to see what she will come up with next. Ronda is a true treasure."
His
Mr. Ben Salba--
"Ben is an amazing teacher. He is so thoughtful about putting the kids needs first without enabling bad behaviors or compromising the difficult course. His continued compassion for his students along with his superior content knowledge make him an excellent teacher."
If you know either or both of these tremendous folks, please take time to reach out and offer congratulations!!

Scheduling for the 2020-21 School Year
Between February 18th and March 6th, our School Counselors will be meeting individually with current 9th-11th grade students to view their teachers’ recommendations and elective selection(s) to ensure they have all their required courses. This meeting will take place through students’ English classes and will be the final time this semester that students will be able to make changes to their courses.
School Counselors will follow up with any students absent on the day their class goes to the meeting and any students not currently in a traditional English class at Chattahoochee (online, Dual Enrollment, etc.).
Since Infinite Campus offers online viewing of course recommendations as well as the ability to enter elective choices, we will no longer be distributing paper copies of course verification's.

This tradition is a special opportunity to honor our 2020 graduates with personalized notes or cards to commemorate this big event in their lives. We invite you, other family members, friends, VIPs and members of the CHS faculty to write notes of congratulations to your son or daughter. We will collect these cards and notes for each student and distribute them after graduation practice. Every senior will be presented with a large Gold Envelope containing the collected messages as well as community giveaways. The notes and cards will be kept confidential until graduation practice.
