Hello, Bobcat Families.
Here is the latest Bobcat Connection where you will see the latest happenings at KHS, as well as general information for students. On Friday, September 23rd progress reports were sent home. Although it is not the end of the grading period, it is an eligibility checkpoint for our students involved in extracurricular activities. Please remember that Monday, September 25th is a student holiday and staff work day.
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Krum High School, thank you for supporting our students, staff, and community. Krum is a special place because of you.

Register To Vote
To vote in Texas, you must be registered. Simply pick up a voter registration application, fill it out, and mail it at least 30 days before the election date. Get your application here.
You are eligible to register to vote if:
- You are a United States citizen;
- You are a resident of the county where you submit the application;
- You are at least 18 years old on Election Day;
- You are not a convicted felon (you may be eligible to vote if you have completed your sentence, probation, and parole); and
- You have not been declared by a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be either totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.

To confirm your voter registration status, you may select one of three methods to perform a search:
- Your Texas driver’s license number, if you provided it when you applied for voter registration;
- Your Voter Unique Identifier (VUID), which appears on your voter registration certificate;
- Your first and last name.

National Honor Society Scholarship Program
Applications for the 2017–18 National Honor Society (NHS) Scholarship Program will open on October 6. All NHS senior members in good standing will be eligible to apply.
Applicants will need:
- Three recommendations will be required. Applicants will be asked for an email address for recommenders. So they should be gathering email addresses for and enlisting support from:
- the adviser
- the principal
- another faculty member
- Applicants will need to detail participation or leadership in their three most significant individual service activities or projects.
- The application deadline will be January 30, 2018. You will need to complete your recommendations and certifications of applicants by this date.
