Alpha Eta Midwest Marchdown 2018
Scholarship Stepshow
ABOUT THE MARCHDOWN
The Distinguished Men of the Alpha Eta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., cordially invites you to our chapter's Annual Midwest Marchdown Scholarship Step Show. This is the biggest fundraising event Alpha Eta hosts to provide scholarship funds to local college bound, high school seniors. The Alpha Eta Chapter represents eight universities in the greater St. Louis area and promotes scholarship and academic excellence within the St. Louis community through this staple event. Bring your coworkers, friends, and family to join us for the 36th Annual Midwest Marchdown, a community-wide, historic event on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Harris-Stowe State University!
Since the step show premiered back in 1981, the Midwest Marchdown has awarded over $35,000 in scholarship funds and over $130,000 in prize money to the winning organizations. This year there will be a $1,500 cash prize for both the winning fraternity and sorority teams, in a "Winner Takes All" competition. The participating organizations then use those funds for strategic programming throughout the school year, or donate to charities of their choice.
