Assemblies
The Read-a-Thon has been postponed. It will now be held the week of April 11. There will be an assembly on Monday, April 11(time yet to be determined) to kick-off the week and then guest readers in the classrooms on Friday, April 15.
Trinity Irish Dancers will be performing for us on St. Patrick's Day. This is one of the assemblies that teachers felt should be retained. The assembly will be on March 17 at 9:50 a.m. Please see the assembly document for these updates.
SLO
Teachers: Please remember that the deadlines for MLP are "soft" deadlines and we have some wiggle room with them. The timeline given shows that the SLO should be developed and completed in the MLP form by Oct. 15. You should be in the process of formulating your goal, but it is okay if it is not completed by that date. The entire form, which includes the self-reflection, SLO, and PPG is "due" on October 30. If you have questions about your SLO, please let me know. Once your SLO is developed, I would like to meet with each grade level/team/person to conference regarding it. When you are ready, please set up a time with me to discuss this. Thanks!
SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK
Positive Jaguars of the Month - School Record Set!
In the month of September, 533 Paws were awarded to students exhibiting Positive Jaguar behavior. We believe this is a new record for our school. Thank you to all staff for recognizing students for being "Respectful, Responsbile, and Ready to Learn".
