Come and Learn from Our Freshmen World Affair Students
The World Affair is a culminating activity for students to present research they have conducted throughout the second semester. Students have been researching a variety of human interest topics that effects people all over the world. Students will present their findings with a PowerPoint presentation. All are welcome to come!
Thursday, May 14th (7:20 am - 3:13 pm)
Open parking is available to all who attend. Please check in at the security desk at D door or F door. There will be JROTC members to direct you to the locations of the World Affair.
World Affair Topics Include
Should politicians and school administrators enforce tougher punishments for bullying?
Should the U.S. pursue a policy of nuclear disarmament?
Should fetuses be granted rights of protection or is it still a woman's choice?
We need judges! We need members of our community to judge the World Affair projects to create an authentic learning experience for our students. A major learning objective of the project is to present their research to an authentic audience (anyone who is not their teacher or classmate). If you can judge please contact Mr. Boyter at 815.555.555. No previous experience necessary. Judges will be given a rubric and instructions upon arrival.
