Just after twelve-year-old Emily and her family move to San Francisco, she teams up with new friend James to follow clues in an odd book they find, hoping to figure out its secrets before the men who attacked Emily's hero, publisher Garrison Griswold, solve the mystery or come after the friends.

3rd-5th grade students are invited to bring a sack lunch and come to the library and join Mrs. Sawyer for a fun book discussion. Dessert will be provided. Registration is limited to 15 students. To register, please complete this form and return it to Mrs. Sawyer no later than Friday, April 13.
Book Cafe Permission Slip
Students are expected to have read the selected book, and to come prepared to participate. Plan to visit the school library, a public library or a bookstore to obtain the selected title prior to the book café. The public library can readily help you obtain a copy of the book. Students should bring a sack lunch and a beverage. Dessert will be provided. Please notify Mrs. Sawyer at lindasawyer@sfx-school.org if your child has a food allergy. The book café is a privilege. Responsible behavior is expected.
