Due Next Week: Annotated Bibliography
Next week, each student's annotated bibliography is due. This should include MLA citations for a minimum of 5 sources and an annotation stating why the resource is reliable. The citations should be alphabetized.

Science Under The Stars- Spider Silk: An Extraordinary Biomaterial
Science Under the Stars is a free public outreach lecture series. Events start at 7:00pm outdoors at Brackenridge Field Laboratory, 2907 Lake Austin Blvd, Austin, Texas 78703. Arrive early for refreshments and fun activities for kids of all ages! Guided tours of the field lab are available (wear sturdy shoes and bring water)!
On February 11th, the next event in the series, led by Emma Dietrich, will address how Spider Silk is created, harvested, and possible uses and implications for the future. For more information, visit the Science Under the Stars web site.
VEX Robotics Tournament
Thank you so much to all the volunteers who helped with the Eanes ISD VEX Robotics Tournament last Saturday.
Congratulations to all of our teams, Anonymous 4, Galactic Cougars, Hyper Electronics, and Gigabots. Additionally, Anonymous 4 reached the quarter-finals, and Galactic Cougars reached the semi-finals, as well as being selected to receive the Design Award.
