Bear Cubs Show Amazing Leadership Throughout our School
Look What We're Learning!
Kindergarteners studied life on the farm during their trip to Drumm Farm.
1st grade learned to think Win-Win and talk through problems.
2nd grade used M&Ms to practice graphing.
3rd grade strategized to practice subtraction with regrouping.
4th grade practiced bike safety during P.E.
5th grade observed a tarantula to kick off their nonfiction unit.

If you are interested in purchasing a school yearbook, $15 early bird pricing is available through November 16. Orders can be made online at ybpay.lifetouch.com (ID code 10125218). Yearbook order forms are also available in the school office.
After November 16, yearbooks may be purchased for $18. All orders must be received by March 3, 2018.
Fifth grade students will receive a complimentary yearbook courtesy of Ott's PTA.
Meet Mrs. Hauser, School Nurse
My name is Kaitlyn Hauser, and I feel very excited and privileged to be your new school nurse. It is my goal to work alongside parents and teachers to help achieve a healthy environment for our incredible students. The students are the number one reason I am here!
I love working with children and their families. I have an 8+ year history of working with kids and their families in various roles. I also happen to be an alumni of the Independence School District.
I live in Lee's Summit with my husband, Isaac, and our dog, Ellie. I enjoy spending time with family. My favorite color is anything glitter!
I am here to answer questions, provide support, and most of all, extend care and compassion. Please do not hesitate to contact me at all any time.
