Where at?

It is located in the Laurentian mountains in the Mauricie region of Quebec Canada.The park lies within the Eastern forest burial transition ecoregion.

What lives in it?

Wildlife in the park includes moose, black bears, beavers and otters. It supports a small number of wood turtles, that are rare in Canada.

What to do there?

The park is a popular location for camping, canoeing and kayaking.

What plants live there?

La Mauricie has 20 species of deciduous trees, including maple and white birch, it also harbours 440 species of vascular plants.
