About The Red Cross
The red cross does: Disaster Relief, Supporting America’s Military Families, Lifesaving Blood, Health and Safety Services, and International Services. They respond to 70,000 disasters in the U.S. each year. They work to give essentials to people in disaster zones
Founding
The Red Cross was founded by Clara Barton and her acquaintances on May 21, 1881. Clara Barton led the Red Cross for 23 years. It has grown to one of the largest relief organizations.
