#Relationships
In a Digital Age
Where is our time spent?
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Time. It is something that we have, but often we want more. We make time for things that are important to us like family, friends, prayer, exercise, work, relaxing, sleep, hobbies, and the list goes on! Screen time can impact the amount of time spent on what we value. Where is our time spent? Can we find a better use for our time? How do we model this for children, teens and young adults who are learning how to budget their time?
It is easy to lose time while engaging with screens. Apps are designed to keep us hooked through the “continuous scroll”, push notifications, “likes”, or achieving “streaks”. Supporting children, teens and young adults navigate their time is an ongoing process. This month’s email provides links, articles and videos to help parents have conversations with their children around screens and time.
