Winter Weather Information

With winter weather now upon us, please note the following changes to schedules:

  • The Wamogo day type (A, B, C or D) will not change with a closure. If Wamogo has an unscheduled closing on a C Day, we will return to a D Day.
  • If Wamogo has an unscheduled early dismissal, the dismissal time will be 11:00 a.m. A scheduled early dismissal due to conferences or teacher professional development is always 12:00 p.m.
  • The type of delayed opening is at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools. There is the option of a 2 hour delayed opening or a 3 hour delayed opening, depending upon the severity of the weather.

Wamogo daily schedules, including a day type calendar, are available on Wamogo's website.

Report Cards

Report cards are available for viewing through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The PowerSchool Parent Portal is an integrated tool that allows parents access to view specific academic information regarding their child/children. Parents are able to monitor items such as attendance, assignments and grades. We believe that this tool further enhances communication between parents and teachers and assists in our partnership as we strive to provide the best education possible. Additionally, with constant access to PowerSchool, Wamogo does not print report cards, as access to grades are available twenty- four hours a day, seven days a week during the academic school year.

Please contact the School Counseling Administrative Assistant for assistance and access codes: 860-567-6646 or bhart@rsd6.org.
