Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

As you know, we share buses with the Junior High. Each morning, the buses drop the junior high students off and then bring them to Greene. Students will arrive at Greene at around 8:00 and be in class and ready for announcements to begin at 8:05.

If you are dropping your child off in the morning we ask you to be mindful of the time. If you arrive before 7:45, drop them in the main entrance. They will be able to sit in the lobby until buses come. If you drop them after 7:45, you will need to drop them at the cafeteria. We must keep the main lot clear for buses. We will have staff near the cafeteria entrance to welcome your children and direct them to class.

Bus Dismissal begins at 2:54 pm. Bus Assignments for your child are available on the District Website. Go to Enter your student's ID # to retrieve the bus stop information.

If your child will be going home other than on his/her assigned bus (ie, going to Latchkey, being picked up, walking home) , please send in a note with your child indicating the plan. Your child will need to have his/her note processed at the Main Office Pass Window as soon as he/she arrives at school. Students being picked up from school will be sent to the Cafeteria at 2:52 pm and you or the designated person will need to sign out your student from the Cafeteria. If this alternate dismissal plan is recurring, you may put the beginning and end dates on one note, and we will keep it on file. Please be ready to show your ID to the staff when signing out your student. Thank you. Students walking home will be dismissed at 3:03 pm.

5th Grade Curriculum Preview - Thursday, August 23rd

Our Fifth Grade Curriculum Preview will be held Thursday evening, August 23rd. The program will begin at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria.

This is an evening for you, our parents, to meet your child's teachers and to hear about our curriculum.

On Wednesday, your child will be bringing home a schedule for you to follow. Students receiving Accelerated or Intervention Programming services will receive a schedule from their individual teachers.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Mr. Tudor will not be in attendance at the 5th Grade Curriculum Preview. He is home helping his wife and kids with the new addition to the family. As always, feel free to contact the school if you have any questions, concerns, or issues that need to be addressed.

We are looking forward to seeing you on Thursday evening!
