Game Schedule

December 6 - All four teams play at DeSana

December 11 - Girls at Liberty Middle; Boys vs. Liberty at Home

December 13 - All four teams vs. South Middle at Home

Access the complete basketball schedule HERE. Students are welcome to join us after school for home games. A game day permission slip is required. Students: $4 and Adults: $6 with concessions available.

For nights where there are two games, students must be picked up by 7:30pm. Students who are not picked up on time may be required to have a parent attend the game with them.

Restorative Circle Updates

As you know, students participate in a Restorative Circle with their teacher and a small group of students on Mondays during Flex Time. This week (Monday, December 2) students discussed Empathy. This was our final lesson wrapping up the acronym for PRIDE, our PBIS expectations.

E - Empathy

To follow up on the Restorative Circle conversation with your student, talk to them about Empathy, and how we show Empathy to others. One of the topics they discussed with their Circle was how it made them feel to show Empathy or when Empathy was shown to them. It would be interesting to know how your student responded...

Nominations for December Teacher of the Month

Nominations are open for November's Teacher of the Month. Please nominate a teacher and/or give special recognition to a staff member. All employees receive a copy of the notes from the Riverwatch community. Click HERE to nominate.

Next 8th Grade Field Trip

Our second trip of the year is scheduled for February, 2020. We will visit Mercedes Benz Stadium, the National Center for Civil Rights, World of Coke, and Oakland Cemetery.

Transition Information for Parents of 8th Grade Students

Out of District High School Information

Each high school in Forsyth County has specific programs and pathways that are offered. If your child has an interest in one of the pathways offered at a high school other than Lambert High School, you may find information about the process to request an Out of District approval here. Please note that requests are reviewed at the district level and do not guarantee acceptance. You may also visit the Riverwatch Counseling Page on our website for additional information.

8th Grade Dance - Planning Mtg December 6th

Please join us for a planning meeting on Friday, December 6th at 3:30pm at the school. If you are unable to make the meeting and interested in helping please email We are looking for many hands to make for light work.

The PTSO is accepting semi-formal dresses which will be used for a "swap n shop" in early spring in preparation for the dance.
