Thesis Statement

Citizens should be allowed to choose laws by demonstrating a fight for equality and a variety of choices.

The citizens should be allowed to rule and make their own laws that they want. " In the Most Dangerous Games by Richard Connell ", and "The Lottery by Shirley Jackson", in the texts they use their traditions to make the choices in their lives. In the Most Dangerous Games the general was supposed to kill Rainsford but the tables turned and Rainsford killed the general. In the Lottery they use their traditions to choose who will be killed and everyone has to kill a member of their family or another family.

The citizens right to rule, Citizens should be allowed to rule based on the laws that are used in the story.

"Tessie Hutchinson was in the center of a cleared space by now, and she held her hands out desperately as the villagers moved in on her. "It isn't fair," she said. A stone hit her on the side of the head. "It isn't fair, it isn't right," Mrs. Hutchinson screamed, and then they were upon her"(Jackson 7).

"It's a game, you see," pursued the general blandly. "I suggest to one of them that we go hunting. I give him a supply of food and an excellent hunting knife. I give him three hours' start. I am to follow, armed only with a pistol of the smallest caliber and range. If my quarry eludes me for three whole days, he wins the game. If I find him "--the general smiled--" he loses" ( Connell 9).

In conclusion, I feel that the citizens should be able to choose the laws. I feel that these will be better because if the citizens can choose what they want to do they will follow the laws that they chose.

Next Election

The most important point to me is who's going to be the next president. I'm afraid that the US may go in debt or the US may cause a big conflict with another country and we will go to war.
