The Olympics were really important, so countries made truces in between war so that the people from different countries could come and compete in the Olympics. The Olympics were suppressed in 394 ad by Theodosius I. The idea of the modern Olympics were created by Pierre de Coubertin, in 1894. There were many more games added, and since then, the Olympics have been played every 4 years all over the world.
Theatre was invented in 700 bc, in Athens, Greece. It was originally part of a festival called the Dionysia, which honored the Greek god, Dionysus. Tragedy was a form of theatre, that is about suffering. It was invented in the late 500s bc. Comedy was another type of theatre. This is a drama with a happy ending invented in 450 bc. Now, in modern day, the idea of theatre is also used. Theatre is now very popular all over the world.
