Weekly Knight News
Week of 12-11-17
Amazing things happening
As I have said in the past, there are some amazing things taking place each day in our building! I am lucky enough to be able to stop into classrooms and see these amazing engaging lessons our students have each day. Regardless if you have idea bandits still to do or not, I encourage you to stop in classrooms and see what is taking place. Or at least ask a fellow teacher what they are teaching in class.
You are all very passionate about your classroom and what you teach. I know you would love to share what you have planned with everyone else!
Collaboration
Tomorrow morning's collaboration we will start off in the library for a very short period. I want to show you some new sample furniture. Then you will have time to meet in teams for the remainder of collaboration.
Elf Sibert
This week Sibert has offered something very cool to our students during their lunch. She has worked hard at creating a holiday card with circuits. ALOT of trial and error to get the cards to work and she is ready to share that discovery process with our students. This week there will be 39 students during lunches working with Laura on these holiday cards. If you are free during lunch pop down to her office to check them out!
December 20th
On the last day of school we will be taking any student with 6 or more Knight Passes to the movies in the morning.
Sometime during 6th period on that day we will call students down to the gym for our annual reindeer games, grade prizes, and ugly Christmas sweater contest.
NWEA
We will be testing this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on a 2 hour delay schedule. Students will report directly to NE each morning. More details coming tomorrow!
