Outdoor Lunch

I've received numerous emails inquiring about why some classes did not eat outside last week, even though it warmed up in the afternoon. As the weather has gotten cooler, we are leaving it up to teachers to decide if they will eat indoors or outside, depending on the temperature during their lunch time. The mornings have still been very chilly and our first lunch is at 10:15 AM. Even 50 degrees in the shade and wind can feel cold to students. If you have specific questions as to why your child's class ate lunch inside on a particular day, please reach out to the classroom teacher. When we've had students eat outside on cooler days, we've had just as many parents ask why students are being made to eat outside in the cold. Please trust that we are making the best decisions we can each and every day in the interest of keeping all our students safe and healthy.

PTA Save the Date

Don't forget that this Saturday, December 11th is donuts and garden rock paining from 9:30-11:30 AM. Families can come out and help decorate the rocks that line our gardens. Please note the building will not be open so their will be no restrooms available.

Early Release Day

This Wednesday, December 8th is an Early Release Day and school will dismiss two hours early.

PTA Meeting

Our next PTA meeting will be Monday, December 13th at 6:30 PM via Zoom.
