Districtwide Information for the Week of 11/9
Self-Screening Required for In-Person Students
Please note that students will not be allowed on the bus or on campus if this specific screener through Qualtrics is not completed. As cases are starting to rise in the county, we are taking this very seriously. PLEASE do your part to help keep our schools open for in-person instruction.
Thanks to everyone who is already doing this on a daily basis. Please watch the instructional video below and contact the office if you have any questions about accessing the screener.
Employees Needed!
Site Council Openings
Help each school develop plans to improve the educational experience for all of our students. Contact Heather Becksted (South Bay) for more information.
Food Distribution is now only for SBUSD students
Students that are in-person will be provided a meal bag daily if they are signed up to receive meals or if parents order meals ahead of time.
Students may qualify for free or reduced meals. Applying is easy. Not only could you qualify for reduced meal costs. Your application can also help Pine Hill and South Bay with increased funding, improved internet access, and other important resources to help our students. Please see the flyer below for more information. To apply, CLICK HERE!

Box Tops Program Still Running!
We are still collecting Box Tops for both Pine Hill and South Bay Schools! If you have any of the paper or plastic ones, please drop them by either of the schools by OCTOBER 28. You can leave them on the library book curbside pickup cart at South Bay School on Tuesdays from 11:00-1:00 or at Pine Hill School's curbside pickup day on Mondays from 11:30-1:30. You may also drop them off at either school's front office with the school secretary.
The new way for the schools to get Box Tops credits is to scan your grocery receipts with a free phone app you can get for your smartphone on Apple's AppStore or GooglePlay. Thank you for continuing to support both of the schools' libraries in this way!
