We are very excited for all our celebrations to raise money on behalf of our Wish Kid Elijah.
STEAM Feedback
The district would love to get some input from families on our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) programming in Englewood Schools. This survey should take around 1 minute to complete. The data collected from this survey will be used to help the district determine our strengths and gaps around the awareness of our STEAM programs. We have a lot of great events and activities coming up. Read on to hear about all our upcoming work.

Health and Wellness--COVID 19 Resources and Information
While there are still no reported cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Englewood, there have been some confirmed cases in Colorado and Arapahoe County. Because of that, we wanted to follow up on what Englewood Schools is doing to prepare for a possible pandemic as well as reiterate what families and staff members can do to stay healthy and to keep others from getting sick.
What is Englewood Schools doing?
Englewood Schools is creating and updating pandemic flu plans, in conjunction with local health partners and based on direction from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Englewood Schools’ Pandemic Flu plan is posted on our website here.
Additionally, we are increasing our cleaning protocols and disinfection efforts at schools as well as investing in additional equipment to make these processes faster and more efficient.
We are continuing to monitor the status of COVID-19 and are prepared to respond if any cases should occur in our district.
What You Should Know
Most people who contract COVID-19 have a mild illness and recover, but it can be more serious for some. Here are steps you can take (and encourage students to take) to keep everyone healthy:
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water. If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. This video from CDC contains great information about handwashing (video does not have sound.) And this video explains handwashing in a kid-friendly way.
Avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth.
Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Stay home if you feel unwell and keep your student home if he or she is unwell. If you or your student has a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.
