Message from the Principal
I want to thank all of our Gator staff and parents for the support and patience shown these past 7 months. We had some challenges, yet despite all, we continued the work that had to be done to ensure the safe return to campus. This week was fabulous and next will be just as great.

Ready, Set, Go! Grades 3-6 Parent Information
We want our Gator students to feel comfortable and Be Successful on their first day of school. Parents we are asking you to please prepare the items below:
- Please label backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles.
- In your child/ren backpack please pack all items that were sent home at Meet the Teacher.
- Cafeteria Breakfast & Lunches are free
- Please remember a Snack
Soft Start - Hours and Procedures
- School Hours: 7:45 - 2:40 Please do not drop off students early in the morning
- Our students will be able to enter the building at 7:45 A.M.
- Students will report directly to the classroom.
- Please wear a mask upon exit of the car, walking up to campus, or arriving on a bike.
- When arriving at the classroom Students will be welcomed at the door by their teacher.
- Students will sanitize hands upon entering the classroom.
- Students may eat breakfast in the Cafe before going to class.

Dismissal - West and East Gate - Changes
KG - 2nd Grade students have already been issued their dismissal tags when they started on September 14, 2020
Students in Grades 3-6 will be issued their dismissal tags by their classroom teachers at the end of the day, Monday - September 21, 2020.
- All students that walk will be given a dismissal tag that is tied to their neighborhood address.
- Students will only be able to enter and exit those gates with the appropriate tag.
- Kindergarten and 1st Grade students are only able to walk if they are walking with an older sibling.
- 2nd Grade thru 6th Grade students are permitted to walk home.
- Parents will have to drive through pick up and drop off if your child doesn't have an East or West Gate tag.
- Out of boundary students, parents will have to come through the pick up and drop off line.
We understand that this may make the line longer, but safety is our goal.

School Cents
Goodman will be participating in the School Cents program at Chandler Fashion Square for 20.21. Enjoy shopping, dining and movies, submit your receipts so Goodman can earn some extra money.

Band and Orchestra begin Monday, September 21
Band and Orchestra Students will NOT be entering through the MPR for Class. They are to meet their instructors at the Gate by the front office.
Mr. Miller will meet all students at the Gate by the front at 7:15 a.m. He will escort students to class and review hand sanitizing and safety protocols for band.

Tuesday and Thursday
ORCHESTRA
Mrs. Broomfield will meet all students at the Gate by the front office at 6:55 a.m.
She will escort all students to class and review hand sanitizing and safety protocols for Orchestra.

At this time, we are unable to accept donations. We have seen many families posting uniform donations on Facebook. Thank you, as this does help many families as children grow out of clothes throughout the school year.
