2nd Six Weeks October 9, 2018 - November 9, 2018

Power Up in the Library - October 1-5, 2018

Students during their library classes were able to learn about the many resources MackinVIA has to offer. Students were able to select a database and investigate it at a deeper level, then explain what they learned to their peers.

School Spirit - October 12, 2018

Students and staff were greeted by our wonderful Henry Ford Elementary staff during our Pack the House to demonstrate support to our feeding P.S.J.A. North Raiders High School. 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.

Dia De Los Muertos Festival - November 2, 2018

Henry Ford Elementary invited the community to their first "Dia De Los Muertos Festival." Students and parents were able to enjoy the many festivities from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Storybook Character Pumpkin Contest

Students and parents work together to compete their yearly Story Book Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

The whole entire school dressed up as their favorite book character. This helped the students make connections with their favorite book characters, but adding their own twist to it.

Library - Read In Peace

October 29-31, 2019

The room is dark and gloomy and students read with their flashlights their favorite books. Students enjoy "reading in peace."
