Bienvenue chez nous!

NOTICE TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS REGARDING ADVERTISEMENTS
As you know, our schools are important community gathering places. As a result, businesses and individuals may try to take advantage of our spaces to distribute promotional materials of various kinds at schools or school events. In some cases, permission is sought and obtained prior to the distribution, in other cases, the promotional materials are not authorized.
We are writing to advise you that our School Division and Schools do not, and indeed cannot endorse products or services which may be advertised at our facilities. Our Board, administration, teachers and all staff must be focused on meeting the educational and related needs of our students and community. We cannot, and do not investigate the merits and quality of any service or product offered that may have been promoted at a school or event.
2020 Accountability Survey
Parents receive their surveys in the mail, but you are able to complete it online at https://public.education.alberta.ca/apos/
Once at this website, please enter the 8-character Random Access Code located in the upper right corner of the tear-away portion of your paper survey and then follow the online survey instructions. The Random Access Code does not and cannot be used to identify individual respondents. We would really love to hear what you think.

They will also spend some time doing team building, as well as sledding, watching a movie and basically getting to know one another better.

Grade 7 Students Focus on Citizenship
Grade 7 homerooms have started a new program to highlight students who are demonstrating exceptional citizenship and respect. Each week we are working with the students to pick an area from the Cougar Code that needs improvement. After a week of focus, they vote for a peer in their class that they think exemplifies that area really well. Our first week focused on respecting other people’s belongings. The following students were recognized by their peers in each homeroom:
7A: Olivia Belanger and Isabelle Bouillon
7C: Mayla Berger
7D: Parker O’Neil
