Battle of Atlantic
The longest battle in World War II
Abstract
This battle was between German submarines, allied ships, and Luftwaffe. Over 5,219 ships were sunk. Britain needed a vast amount of food and military equipment for the war. A lot of those materials came from America. We had to cross the Atlantic to bring them, but the German submarine force made that very difficult. Causing the Battle Of Atlantic.
1939-1945
The battle will happen September 1939 to May 1945. The battle should pickup in 1943. This battle is located on The Atlantic Ocean.
What happens in the battle?
After Germany took over France they huge submarine pens were built near Bordeaux and they hurt American ships a lot because the German submarines would come and attack the allied ships. I believe the allies won because it was a struggle for them to get their materials and a over, but they ended up doing a good job of it.
Winston Churchill
Winston is a commander of the Battle of the Atlantic for the British. He is a British politician and Prime Minister of United Kingdom.“The only thing that ever really frightened me during the war was the U-boat peril.
