Structure and Function of the cell

We had a rough start to the week, with many students not able to recognize the organelles within cells and only 20% of students completing their double bubble map assignment (50% of which was done in class together).

Things started to pick up though, once students were able to use the microscopes to see cells up close. The majority of students scored between an 80% and 100%, which is a marked improvement. Today students started their PBA (performance based assessment) which is completed in a CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) format.
