Computers
There are four different types of computers that each have a different purpose as to why you would use them.
PCs
The desktop (PC) is one of the four different types, it stands for personal computer and looks like this:
What it's made up of
Unlike other computers it always comes with a keyboard and a mouse and many other parts. Some of these are: the moniter, the tower, system units and speakers.
Who they will be best for
They will be most suitable for people who stay in one place to work, for example business men and teachers. Also, PCs can be used for leisure as they have a high storage.
How much it costs
Depending on the brand, type and many other variables prices of PCs will vary as some will be more expensive than others. However they will be generally around £100-£2000.
Laptops
Laptops are a type of computer and look like the image below:
What's it made up of
The laptop is basically a smaller, lighter and movable version of the desktop with no bridge needed and touch pad- although a mouse can still be used.
Who they will be best for
Laptops are great for people who go to lots of different places whilst using them, like students. They can also be used when travelling to pass time or for leisure.
How much they cost
Usually, they are around £200 and £1,500 as they can differ quite a lot in terms of price and shape.
Tablets
These are a smaller type of computer, the images show what they can look like.
What's it made up of
As you can see, tablets all come separately but can be attached to a keyboard as it is magnetic. In addition you can buy cases for tablets to protect them because they are easy to break and the screen could crack.
Who they will be best for
Unlike the other two types of computers above, you can download apps on the home screen. Therefore these will be useful for schools as they are not too big but not too small for being carried in and out of school.
How much they cost
Tablets are about £175-£600 but can be more or less in some cases
Mobile phones
When summarised phones are basically a pocket sized tablet with only a smaller and slightly different shape. They also allow you to make calls.
What's it made up of
A mobile phone has only one piece so as to make it easy to carry and to access.
Who they will be best for
Everyone. Because they can be used for so many different purposes literally anyone able to understand how to use it can use it.
How much they cost
When deciding how much they cost you need to see which company made them as they may have significant differences. Most of the time they are from £100-£650.
