Weekly Newsletter
This week, I'd like to highlight our Wildcat Cheerleaders! Our cheer team not only supports our Wildcat athletes and compete against other cheer squads, they also give back to our community!
On February 10th, EC Cheer played a huge part in the "Night to Shine" at North Coast Church in Vista. The "Night to Shine" is an event sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. Some activities included are a red carpet entrance, dancing, karaoke, gifts, a catered dinner, a crowning ceremony where every honored guest will receive a crown or tiara, and more.
"The cheerleaders were AMAZING in every way, from cheering our guests as they arrived on the red carpet, handing out crowns, dancing with our honored guests, and helping out with Karaoke. They exemplify excellence in every way! I was just blown away by each and every one of them. An organization is also the direct reflection of their leadership, so hats off to you Shannon for what you do! We are incredibly blessed to have you and your team join us at North Coast Church to honor and serve our special needs community." Director of the Special Needs Ministry at North Coast
