Get ready for Kindergarten with these fun activites

Go Fish

Play "Go Fish" with a basket of clean socks. Divide the socks among the players, leaving a pile to draw from. Each player, in turn, holds up a sock and asks another player if he has the mate. If not, the asking player must take a sock from the top of the draw pile. When finished, the player with the most pairs wins. This also help them with thier colors and sorting by colors.

I can do it!

Self-help development is extremely important for kindergarten. Some tasks may require assistance, but allow your child to attempt to do things themselves before intervening. This may take extra time, and extra patience, but congratulate your child each time they complete a task on their own. Self-help includes: feeding and eating, toileting, washing hands, brushing teeth, and dressing.
