Mrs. Converse's Notes
Are you staying on the right track?
How is your school year measuring up so far?
If you want to finish by May 30, you should be starting Block 8.
If you want to finish by May 2, you should be working in the middle of Block 9.
**Note: This timeline does not take into account any days off or vacations.
If you are are in Block 6 or less, you should be working at least 2 extra hours each day in order to make up the work you are behind on and get caught up. Remember, if you do not spend the recommended 20-25 hours per week on your school work, it will be very difficult to finish your grade by the end of the school year.
Tips for staying on track
- Meet with your teacher in WebEx regularly
- Email your teacher right away if you have a question. If you wait, you may forget or get behind in your lessons!
- Check your email daily, as well as open and read any announcements in Compass.
- Spend 20-25 hours per week working in Compass. Set a schedule to work set hours each day. Complete work in each of your subjects each day.
- Contact Mrs. Converse if you need help catching up or setting a schedule that fits with your work habits.
