Safe Routes to School Survey

Help improve our Safe Routes to Schools Program! If you have a student enrolled at Lawrence Elementary], please take this 5-minute survey about your family’s travel choices and perceptions of safety. This year, we’re also very interested in how families used active transportation during the COVID-19 pandemic, their transportation plans after in-person learning resumes, and any concerns about active transportation to and from school post-reopening. All parents who submit a survey by May 14 will be entered to win one of ten $50 REI gift cards. Thank you!

Read-a-Thon April 12-25

For our Read-a-Thon this year, we're using an awesome web based fundraising system that The Read-a-Thon has a few more days to go and ends on Sunday, April 23rd! This year, we're using an awesome web based fundraising system that makes it much easier for you to request pledges from your family and friends, and for them to make secure credit card donations online. It's fun and easy! What counts as reading for the Read-a-Thon? All reading outside of the in-person or virtual classroom! Daily homework reading, newspapers, magazines, or cereal box reading; reading done for a report or project; reading to a parent or reading with a parent, sibling, or friend. Our Labradors are already reading so it's easy, fun, and let's help to challenge our Labradors to earn a gold medal and raise some money for Lawrence!

The Read-a-Thon is 4/12/21-4/25/21, so please register now to help our school raise funds to support staff grants, teacher appreciation, and school activities:

Go to http://pledgestar.com/lawrence

Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”

Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”

Follow the instructions on-screen to register students

When you finish, the system emails pledge requests to your family and friends, which allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made and you can track your pledge progress online.

Please call 1-888-598-7510 if you need assistance.
