The Role as the STAT Teacher
*Although I don't mind helping to solve device problems, my role goes BEYOND fixing the device*
As you have seen when you take the STAT survey, the questions surround instructional topics. The role of the STAT teacher is for instructional and coaching support. Once I receive the results of the survey, I will dive deep into the data to see what needs are reflected!
Each STAT teacher has a STAT action plan that fits with the school's SPP. Of course I had to get a little fancy with mine! Below is an image of what I created. :-)
Please let me know what I can do for you!

Meaningful Brain Breaks
Primary teachers, are you tired of Go Noodle for a brain break? Go Noodle tends to get students revved up and can cause chaos. Why not try a brain break that stimulates the brain ? I have a variety of executive function brain break activities if you would like some suggestions. Stop by room 119!
New Schoology Feature!
You may have seen this icon below once you log onto Schoology.
This icon represents the Guide Center. The Guide Center, which will be personalized by role so students will only see Help Center information relevant to them, teachers will see Help Center articles and on-boarding Guides, and administrators will see everything. This Guide Center will be built directly in to the interface and will streamline communication for everyone in your district by reducing emails as well as giving you ONE place to find information.
March 6th - Mindfulness PD
I am so excited to share some mindful techniques with you! We will talk about being rooted and grounded in the moment. We have tons of ideas and thoughts in our head through out the day. Join me to unpack those ideas and gain techniques. Although this is a PD geared towards YOU, this activity could be used with your students as well. We will not be using devices so you may want to leave it in your room.
I hope you support me by supporting you! Find a heart sticker of your own to place on my hand when you see me to be entered into a raffle! :-)
