In Case You Missed It:
Congratulations to Vincent Pienaar and Malisa Anderson for being recognized for their positive, friendly attitudes during morning car drop off. The Lawrence Family wanted to do something sweet for them, because their smiles make hard mornings bright and help families start the days off right. If you follow SLMS on Facebook, you probably saw all the comments that also showed their appreciation. It just goes to show you that a smile can go a long way!
Congratulations to Tommy Harrington! His athletic files were audited on Thursday by Mr. Jackson, LCS Athletic Director. Mr. Jackson said that this was the best audit we have had and the best over all the schools this year.
It was a rough week with lots of coverage. In case you did not know, substitutes are only allowed a certain number of hours per month. The end of the month gets rough when many have met their maximum number of hours. Thank you for your "Whatever it takes!" attitudes to ensure our students and school are safe.
Celebrate!
