Sports Update
Both boys and girls basketball programs are off to a great start and competing for an LCAA championship. The girls are 5 – 2 (4 – 1 LCAA) and have 2 home games this week vs Erie Mason and Hudson. The boys are 5 – 3 (4 – 2 LCAA) and have 2 tough road games at Vandercook Lake and Hudson this week.
Bowling is off and rolling while improving every match. This week they wrap up their last LCAA event before the final LCAA Jamboree on Saturday, January 26th at Ten Pins in Tecumseh.
Cheerleading just finished off a tough competition in Hudson on Saturday and looking forward to a BIG cheer event on February 1st. We will have 12 varsity teams coming to CCHS to cheer for charity.
Wrestling is at full strength, and even with them being young, they are off to their best team start in a couple years. They have 2 away events this week, and with good performances, we could finish in the top half of the LCAA which has 2 teams ranked #1 in the state.
