After School Sports - THURDAYS

Each week Mr. Prima and Mr. Waldron will be staying after to play sports with the students for 1 hour (1:50-2:50). Permission slips will go home and teachers are asked to pick one student from those interested to stay after each week. Transportation is NOT provided for this activity. Parents must pick their children up at 2:50. We look forward to having some fun!

Chess Night with Mr. Prima

Each Monday Night from 6PM - 7PM, Mr. Prima will host a chess night in the BTES Cafeteria. This is for intermediate chess players, not a beginner's class. Sign in and out by a parent is required! Come and enjoy the competition.

Reminder: Cell Phone Procedures

At BTES we have decided to create a user friendly cell phone rule. When students bring their phones to school, they should be set off and kept in their bookbag during the school day. When riding the bus, the students may use their phones for music ONLY! There should be no games, calling, texting, photographing, or video taping on the bus. While using their phones for music they MUST ALSO have an earbud in one ear, leaving the other ear open for messages or announcements.

If this rule is not followed, we will be forced to eliminate the use of all phones while on school property.

Thank you for your continued support.

Thanks for Reading :)

Each month we will hide the word "BULLDOG" in the newsletter somewhere that it does NOT belong. The word may show up in other places but it would be used properly there. Check below for an example. When you find it, come see us in the main office and let us know where you found it to win a prize!

Used correctly - "Thanks for all the students and staff who support the bulldog bistro!"

Used incorrectly - "We are excited bulldog for all of the fun events planned for this year!"

Have fun and look closely!!!
