Annual College Night
The decision has been made to move our Annual College Night to a virtual setting. This will provide greater access for our students to be able to attend this yearly event.
The event will only be during the times below, but there is still an opportunity for students to work with their teachers to register and prepare themselves by selecting the colleges they want to see. Here are the details:
What: 2021 annual College Night - a chance for students and parents to virtually meet with representatives of higher education institutions
When: Monday, September 20, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: ANYWHERE with a device equipped with internet access
Summary: High school students, along with their parents, are expected to attend Fort Worth ISD’s 2021 annual “College Night” on Monday, September 20, 2021. This year, College Night will be held virtually from the comfort of your home using your favorite internet enabled electronic device.
With hundreds of universities and institutions from around Texas and across the nation constructing “virtual booths” to house YouTube videos, presentations, and opportunities for live chats, College Night will provide a wealth of educational opportunities at the click of a button.
This event promises to offer “one-stop shopping” for all things higher education. Students will learn how to navigate college options during COVID-19 and beyond.

Masks are now Required
Please know that at BMHS we will expect our students and staff to meet this expectation. I am aware that not everyone will happily embrace this renewed expectation. What I ask is to simply remember, teachers and campus staff are here to help and serve. If you have objections please direct them to me and not to others on campus. Even though I have no authority to override this requirement for anyone, I will gladly reach out and chat with you about this. The best way to reach me is via email: richard.penland@fwisd.org
