Storybook Night
at West Elementary
Tuesday, November 14th from 5:30 - 7:30
Join us at West Elementary for a night of enjoying books, meeting familiar characters, and learning about early literacy!
*Children need to be accompanied by an adult.*
Storybook Night Activities
- Enjoy an evening exploring literature with real characters!
- Dress like your favorite book character! We will, too.
- Eat a FREE pancakes and sausage meal while visiting with the pig from If You Give a Pig a Pancake.
- Meet an officer, a hungry mouse, a sneaky wolf, the cat with the hat, and many more.
- Listen to a puppet show or make up your own.
- Use your imagination to make a craft!
- Parents, learn strategies to help your child succeed in reading. Ideas will be shared for early, primary, and intermediate levels.
- Bring your camera. Many photo opportunities will be available.
Pancake Supper
Provided by the Knoxville Morning Kiwanis.
