If you have a 3rd grader, please make sure he/she gets plenty of rest and eats a healthy breakfast on Monday and Tuesday. Please schedule medical appointments for after school on those days to ensure your child can complete the benchmarks during the time period.
If you are visiting campus on those days, please be aware that students will be taking the benchmarks in multiple locations throughout the building. We do ask that parents not visit 3rd graders for lunch on benchmark days. Thank you for your help in keeping our hallways quiet on those days.

2018 Summer Camp Guide
For the past several years, Lago Vista ISD has put together a list of various summer learning opportunities in the Austin area that may be helpful to Lago Vista ISD parents and students who are looking for summer fun and learning options. This year, we are pleased to announce that we have partnered with Live Grow Play Austin for our 2018 Summer Camp Guide. As a result of this partnership, this year's summer camp guide is fully searchable by interest, location, date, price, etc.

- Build a good reputation;

Students will learn more about Trustworthiness in Guidance with Mrs. Sexton!
Hello LVES Families! Our Project Vinátta activity, “Leaves of Kindness Tree” is in full swing! All teachers have been given a set of leaves to be filled out when a student is caught being kind or showing respect. We have many students who have already earned a leaf and they are displayed on the tree in the hallway by the cafeteria! I can’t wait to see how our Kindness Tree keeps growing!
We are learning about the character trait of Trustworthiness in our guidance lessons this month. At home, it is important to help your child understand who it is safe to trust in their family and community. Children should always be able to trust their parents or guardians. Listen to them when they need to talk, and show them they can trust you.
“If you don’t listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won’t tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.” ~C.M. Wallace
¡Hola familias LVES!
~C.M. Wallace
