High School Highlights
Today’s High School Highlight is Brittany “Bee” Corbitt! In the English II classroom, Brittany is attentive to instruction and strives to show her best work. Brittany’s bright smile reflects her easygoing and kind nature. She is thoughtful in that she thinks through a process before committing to a response or an answer. Very mature Bee! Brittany works hard to create community and equality around her, regardless of who she is around or where she is. Not many people can do that. We need a whole lot of that in today’s world, so thank you for your leadership, Britany!
Today’s High School Highlight is Akeem Staley! In the English II classroom, Akeem is a considerate young gentleman who takes responsibility for his learning by checking in with his teacher about his assignments. He articulately communicates his desire to achieve high marks. The students and myself respect his tenacity and transparency and work to meet his expectations during class time. Akeem wants others around him to excel and he shows that desire through his generous actions. Even though Akeem is a quiet thinker now, we know he will transform into a responsible leader that the world needs. Akeem loves to laugh and is always going the extra mile to excel. His humbleness and thoughtfulness are wonderful characteristics and we love having him in the classroom. We need a whole lot of your personality in this world, so thank you for your leadership, Akeem!
