Resources, events, and ideas...
Willard School Library
Our library is here to support staff and students in meeting educational goals. This weekly newsletter will update you on new resources and ideas that are available physically and digitally. This first edition is longer in order to update you on changes and remind you of how to access information.
Big 6 - Synthesis
January is synthesis month. At this point we have learned how to define our task, where to find and access good resources, and how to take notes. Now we need to organize the information from multiple sources and find a way to present that information. Now that 4th and 5th graders have gmail accounts there are more opportunies for presentation such as Prezi, ThingLink, and Padlet. Let's find a topic you are already teaching and come up with a project. We can tie it in with the writing you are doing, Social Studies, Science or a combination.
I'm Out
I will be out all day January 7th to participate in the ELA silo meetings. I will also be out Monday, January 11th.
