The Goshen Gazette
May 2020
From the Principal - Mr. Graves
Greetings Goshen Families,
Never in my wildest imagination would I have imagined a school year like this one. Many of you may be familiar with the Farmer's Insurance commercials where they make the claim, "... we've seen almost everything...". During my career in education, I have seen almost everything, but nothing like this. Yet, through it all, it has been wondrous to see how you all as a Goshen Lane community have come together to support the staff, students and families as we all navigated (and continue to navigate) our way though this crisis. For that, and for all you have done since my arrival at Goshen Lane Elementary School, I thank you. In spite of how this school year will end, for me, it has been a gratifying year, one that I have enjoyed working with you and your child(ren). All the best to our off to middle school 5th graders. I/we will miss you. And to everyone, I trust you all have a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer. I look forward to the new school year to come.
Hopefully, you have received information from the superintendent regarding plans for ending this school year. Included in this newsletter is information specific to student materials pickup and drop off at Goshen Lane.
