What is a cell?
A cell is the smallest structural and functional unit of an organism, all consisting of cytoplasm and a nucleus enclosed in a membrane. There are 2 types eukaryotic & prokaryotic.
Eukaryotic Cells
Eukaryotic cells are organisms whose cells are organized into complex structures by internal membranes and a cytoskeleton. The most characteristic membrane bound structure is the nucleus. In simpler terms, a eukaryotic cell has a nucleus and is found in animals, plants, fungi, and protists.
Prokaryotic Cell
Prokaryotic cells are organisms without a cell nucleus or any other membrane-bound organelles. Most are unicellular, but some prokaryotes are multicellular.
Cell Reproduction
Cell Reproduction is a process by which cells duplicate their contents and then divide to yield two cells with similar, if not duplicate, contents.
