Becoming an officer can give you a huge advantage with networking, scholarships and acceptance at desired universities. Moreover, it equips you with a host of abilities which help in workplace environments and real life situations needed outside of classrooms. So if you're interested in being an officer, keep scrolling!

Officer Positions and Responsibilities

  • President: A pro at paperwork handling, organizational skills and requires the energy levels of a droid. The position comes with an endless supply of gratitude from all members and officers!
  • Vice President: A smaller version of a president, like a cute puppy, and extremely vital to the backbone of the club, especially when it comes to decision making and keeping the group glued together.
  • Secretary: Secretaries are the royal scribes of this club! They write the newsletters, coordinate with the officers for information and pictures, and take minutes in every meeting. (Yes, a secretary is writing this newsletter right now.)
  • Public Relations Officer: Phone calls and logistics sum up a major chunk of a PR officer's responsibility. You need to be friendly, pro-active and a ninja when it comes to researching an event's if's and but's.
  • Treasurer: One word: money! Treasurers are trusted with funds, and keeping records of expenses and fundraising.
  • Historian: Do you love Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter? Then this is the position for you! You'll be in charge of our social media accounts. (You are also required to love memes.)
Email us at: with your name, preferred position and why you'd be a good choice for that position. ASAP!
You will be contacted shortly with details on how to proceed with the process and training.
