Wrapping Up Public Schools Week - Nominate a GEM!

Do you know a Berkeley County Schools (BCS) employee who makes the extra effort to go above and beyond? Every day brings a new opportunity for our employees to demonstrate civic responsibility, community participation, and to give back while creating a positive impact for our students and the broader community.

Recognize a BCS employee for going the extra mile (GEM), for making the additional effort, for doing more than expected. Let us honor and celebrate the dedicated work performed each and every day throughout Berkeley County Schools.

Read Across America Week, March 2-6.

The act of reading has been around for thousands of years, since the invention of the written word. Read Across America Week celebrates and recognizes the importance that reading plays in our daily lives. This recognized week serves to educate our students and community on the values of reading and the shape it provides to our life and future success.
