Weekly RAM Newsletter
A Brief Note from Dr. Burke
Dear Ram families,
It's another quiet week on campus but there are a couple events taking place. On Wednesday our drama class will perform "What Happened After Once Upon a Time" in the Little Theater at 6pm. On Thursday our undefeated volleyball teams play their last game of the season at 3:45pm in the MPR.
On behalf of the Foundation, thank you to all those who have turned in your red envelopes. We are so excited about the response. If you haven’t returned your envelope please send it in tomorrow with your student. The students are asking that the new hydration station be placed by the PE locker room. What a great idea! Thank you again for your donations.
Quarter 2 ends this Friday and all students can now access their 2nd semester schedules on Synergy. Schedule change request forms for 7th and 8th graders are available before school, during break and lunch, and after school from Mrs. Myers in the counseling office. Forms must be turned in by 3:30pm on Friday, January 17th.
TPMS choir is starting back up again and would love to have new members join them! Practice starts Thursday, January 30th and will continue through the end of the year each Thursday from 7:45am-9am in the Little Theater. Check out our website at tpmschoir.wordpress.com! Any questions, please email tpmschoirdirector@gmail.com".
The 8th grade Knott's Berry Farm trip is just around the corner on Saturday, February 8th. Ticket sales start tomorrow during 2nd lunch and will be on sale through Thursday or until they sell out. Tickets can be purchased with $70 cash or check and in Room 301. Students must not have any U's in conduct, suspensions, or referrals. Please visit our website for the permission slip. Thanks!
Finally, if you missed the deadline for the 8th grade yearbook ad, it has been extended. Order forms are available at the front office desk, Room 405, Room 109, or online at www.tpmsyearbook.weebly.com. Please return the completed form and payment of $25 to the office by January 30th.
I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow and remember, it's a 6/2/4 day.
Sincerely,
Dr. Burke
Classified Employee of the Year
Please join us in congratulating Matti Miller in representing Twin Peaks as our Classified Employee of the Year. We honor Matti for an outstanding job supporting our students in the ASES program. Matti is always open to helping students both academically and socially. She has worked tirelessly to expand our athletics program this past year so that Twin Peaks students in general can get involved in many sports after school. We feel honored to have her as part of our Twin Peaks family.
