FACULTY/STAFF SPOTLIGHT

Dr. Kimberly Warfield, Instructional Leadership Faculty Member

Dr. Warfield is a Mississippi native, where she earned her doctorate and educational specialist degrees in educational administration and leadership from Mississippi College and earned her master’s and bachelor's degrees in Biology from Jackson State University. Prior to coming to JSU, she served as principal, curriculum and instruction assistant principal, and life science teacher in the Jackson Public School District. One thing Dr. Warfield enjoys about JSU is the relationships she’s built and collegiality she’s experienced from the faculty and staff over the years.

Outside of JSU, Dr. Warfield enjoys spending time with family, mentoring and coaching teachers and administrators, traveling and working out, which is her happy place!
