DVMS Library welcomes ALL NEW and returning students, staff and Faculty to the start of the 20-21 school year!
Due to COVID-19, we will not host any in-person programs but many services, events, workshops, and technologies will be available online to you.
How It Works
Destiny Discover will allow you to browse DVMS Library’s catalog virtually and reserve books online using your Chromebook device!
1 - ORDER
-Look for the Destiny Discover App on your Chromebook, It's already installed!
-Browse DVMS Library's catalog. Check out this VIDEO for instructions to search and put Books On Hold!
-To place items on hold, you must to LOG IN using your google account and password.
2 - WAIT FOR "READY FOR PICK UP" EMAIL
We will message you when your order is ready for pick up.
3 - PICK UP
Call us when you arrive, park in our curbside pick up zone!

Aeries and Library Services Virtual Workshop
The Library and our Parent liaison are collaborating together to hold our first virtual "Introduction to Aeries & Library Services Parent Workshop."
We have an Aeries presentation in which parents will be learning how to create an account, check grades, and useful tips to better navigate the site. Parents will be welcomed to learn about our physical and virtual resources and services available in the Library, and how to access them to support their children's academic success. During this workshop, Parents will learn how to best take advantage of the library's resources and services, check their student's account for any fines and/or overdue materials as well.

With movies, concerts, and other live events canceled due to Covid-19 crisis, more and more people seem to be turning to literature to pass the time.
We are celebrating Library Card Sign-up Month, Join our Spetember Virtual Book Club!
This September, DC's Wonder Woman, armed with the Lasso of Truth, makes a perfect ambassador to support the value of learning and the role libraries play in transforming lives and strengthening communities through education.
The first 15 students who sign up HERE will get a FREE copy of the Book "Powers of a Girl" By Lorraine Cink.
